Student Care Program
When You Can’t
Be There, We Can.
The Challenge
College Creates Independence. Medical Emergencies Create Uncertainty.
When students leave for college, they gain independence. But when a medical emergency happens, that independence can quickly become overwhelming. A trip to the emergency room. An unexpected hospitalization. A serious illness. A confusing diagnosis.
For parents, the challenge is often the same: you’re hours away, unable to get on the next flight, and unsure how to help from a distance. Questions begin to race through your mind:
Do they understand what’s happening?
When families can’t be physically present, having experienced healthcare guidance can make all the difference.
How It Helps
A Trusted Advocate During Healthcare Emergencies
Professional support when students and families need guidance most.
Evern’s Student Care Advocacy Membership provides access to experienced Registered Nurse advocates who help students and families navigate unexpected healthcare situations with confidence.
Helping students understand information shared by their healthcare team, including diagnoses, discharge instructions, and treatment recommendations.

Why Evern
Build on Advocacy,
Led by Experience
Founded by a nurse who understands what families need most during healthcare crises.
Evern was founded by Registered Nurse Eve Perez Roberson, whose nearly three decades in healthcare have been defined by one core belief: every patient deserves a strong advocate.
Throughout her career in emergency medicine, quality oversight, and private nursing, Eve witnessed firsthand how difficult healthcare systems can be for patients and families to navigate, especially during emergencies.
Her experience as both a healthcare professional and a patient reinforced the importance of having someone who understands the system, asks the right questions, and helps families navigate moments of uncertainty.
The Student Care Program extends that same philosophy to students living away from home.
